Narrative:

At XA50Z, 10000 ft MSL assigned, we got a TCASII TA for an aircraft 12 O'clock and descending into us. We looked for the traffic, but did not pick it up. The TCASII gave an RA and commanded a 2500 FPM descent. We descended to 9000 ft. The lear jet passed over and a little to the right. Our descent was a left turning descent. I believe that TCASII increased the missed distance. ZMA never called out the traffic. We reported the deviation to ZMA.
