Narrative:

Above aircraft, a B757, air carrier X had visual identify on a company B757, air carrier Y, at FL370. However, both pilots of both aircraft reported their TCASII showed absolutely no traffic, even though TCASII was set to look plus or minus 99999 ft! Since both aircraft had same problem, I'd suspect TCASII has some sort of operational limitation or software error. Aircraft 4000 ft apart and 10 NM laterally.
