Narrative:

Dfw tower controllers have continued to use the 'standard taxi to runway xx' phraseology since the changeover to the new taxiway identifiers and spot numbers. There has been no reissue of the commercial charts or air carrier part ii pages that indicate what the standard taxi procedures are. Acceptance of such a clearance without cockpit charts will soon lead to problems. I believe that our crews should not accept standard taxi instructions and should request detailed instructions before taxiing. This of course will cause even more confusion, congestion, and delays on ground frequencys.
