Narrative:

Our aircraft was cleared to land at ewr runway 11. On landing rollout, the aircraft veered off to the left. All attempts were made in order to maintain directional control. The aircraft was brought safely to a stop short of going off the runway. The tower observed the difficulties and requested the 'emergency equipment.' when asked if we required any assistance we declined. We immediately taxied off the runway and requested taxi clearance to the gate and would advise if assistance was required. No assistance was required. Aircraft was written up and maintenance was contacted for repairs. Suspected brake grabbed and pulled aircraft to left.
