Narrative:

Sfo tower cleared us for an immediate takeoff on runway 01. Advanced throttles and heard a compressor stall on #2 engine because of strong xwinds. Aborted takeoff. Everything looked normal and we returned to runway 01. Cleared for takeoff and applied power slower, and everything was normal. (Wind was 320 degrees at 20 KTS.)

EVERYTHING LOOKED NORMAL AND WE RETURNED TO RWY 01. CLRED FOR TKOF AND APPLIED PWR SLOWER, AND EVERYTHING WAS NORMAL. (WIND WAS 320 DEGS AT 20 KTS.)
