Narrative:
Shooting the visual to runway 28L at sfo about 15 mi out center kept us high and fast whole way in -- had 747 on the right -- at 3-4 mi out still to high and closing on 747. Did a missed approach go around, uneventful. However, it is pure insanity to be almost holding hands with a 747 2 mi from touchdown the passenger get extremely concerned. They keep you fast to keep the spacing into sfo. It's a dispatch wanting to happen.
