Narrative:
Climbing in the clear, in smooth air, we encountered 2 almost simultaneous jolts of severe turbulence. Suspect wake turbulence from a 747. ATC reported a 747 had climbed through that area several mins before.

Title: DURING HIGH ALT CLB LGT EXPERIENCES SEVERE WAKE TURB SUSPECTED TO BE CAUSED BY A PRECEDING B747.
Narrative: CLBING IN THE CLR, IN SMOOTH AIR, WE ENCOUNTERED 2 ALMOST SIMULTANEOUS JOLTS OF SEVERE TURB. SUSPECT WAKE TURB FROM A 747. ATC RPTED A 747 HAD CLBED THROUGH THAT AREA SEVERAL MINS BEFORE.
