Narrative:

I was the flight engineer on flight departing atl for jax. Our climb clearance was to 10000 ft. Approaching 10000 ft the TCASII visually and aurally advised us to continue climb because of traffic. ATC was advised that we were climbing above 10000 ft because of an RA on the TCASII. ATC advised us of traffic above us at 11000 ft. We had a visual on that traffic. The RA on the TCASII stopped and we descended to 10000 ft again, and advised ATC. Our climb above 10000 ft was approximately 300 ft.
