Narrative:
Our senior partner makes us move from regular gates to a remote terminal. Well-intentioned management paints taxi and parking lines over previous lines only to find that their new lines are wrong, so more lines are put 'down' and the end result is a nightmare of various colored lines. At least the majority of pilots (over 100 flts per day) know where to go/park. To make matters worse, our senior partner removes a well-positioned, 4 element/60 ft high light pole. Management states cost and logistic problems for not putting the light back up, but are really stalling for time in that a relocation project in august 1994 may result in its removal. In the meantime, we preflight, board passenger, taxi and have mechanics working in the dark. Recently, during a full moon, the moon casts a darker shadow than the other lights from adjacent areas!
