Narrative:
On very short final at approximately 60 KTS, 20 ft AGL, on centerline, a very strong downward/left rolling force was encountered. Aircraft went from 5-10 degrees nose down, wings level to 10-15 degrees nose down, left wing about 10 degrees down and impacted runway slightly left of centerline, bounced once, and came to a halt. Full aft stick and full left stick were applied simultaneously.

Title: HARD LNDG IN GLIDER. LTSS OF ACFT CTL.
Narrative: ON VERY SHORT FINAL AT APPROX 60 KTS, 20 FT AGL, ON CTRLINE, A VERY STRONG DOWNWARD/L ROLLING FORCE WAS ENCOUNTERED. ACFT WENT FROM 5-10 DEGS NOSE DOWN, WINGS LEVEL TO 10-15 DEGS NOSE DOWN, L WING ABOUT 10 DEGS DOWN AND IMPACTED RWY SLIGHTLY L OF CTRLINE, BOUNCED ONCE, AND CAME TO A HALT. FULL AFT STICK AND FULL L STICK WERE APPLIED SIMULTANEOUSLY.
