Narrative:

Far violations far 91.169 after the annual inspection was completed the FBO said 'go ahead and take the aircraft, we will fill out the logbooks'. It was not until 1 week later when I returned to the FBO to get the logbooks that I found out that the logbooks had not been signed off for annual inspection.

Narrative: FAR VIOLATIONS FAR 91.169 AFTER THE ANNUAL INSPECTION WAS COMPLETED THE FBO SAID 'GO AHEAD AND TAKE THE ACFT, WE WILL FILL OUT THE LOGBOOKS'. IT WAS NOT UNTIL 1 WK LATER WHEN I RETURNED TO THE FBO TO GET THE LOGBOOKS THAT I FOUND OUT THAT THE LOGBOOKS HAD NOT BEEN SIGNED OFF FOR ANNUAL INSPECTION.
