Narrative:

We were at FL370 and approximately 90 southwest of nashville. ZME gave us a clearance to cross 50 southwest of nashville at 290. We were preoccupied with working with the omega and forgot to start down. ZME then called us at 54 southwest of nashville and asked if we were able to make the restriction. I advised them negative, then we were reclred to descend and maintain 290. No other comments or problems noted.

Title: ALT XING RESTRICTION NOT MET.

Narrative: WE WERE AT FL370 AND APPROX 90 SW OF NASHVILLE. ZME GAVE US A CLRNC TO CROSS 50 SW OF NASHVILLE AT 290. WE WERE PREOCCUPIED WITH WORKING WITH THE OMEGA AND FORGOT TO START DOWN. ZME THEN CALLED US AT 54 SW OF NASHVILLE AND ASKED IF WE WERE ABLE TO MAKE THE RESTRICTION. I ADVISED THEM NEGATIVE, THEN WE WERE RECLRED TO DSND AND MAINTAIN 290. NO OTHER COMMENTS OR PROBS NOTED.
