Narrative:

I was the captain on flight from mlb to atl. When we arrived in atl a mechanic informed us that we were missing an aft lavatory service door (8 inches X 12 inches). The mechanic said flight control would call melbourne and do a runway check. A mechanic in melbourne (prior to the flight) said he had trouble closing the door, but that it was okay and he had talked to atlanta so they would check it on arrival.
