Narrative:

Line of thunderstorms west of fll. Circumnaving en route to fll from ewr. ATIS current localizer runway 9R circle to runway 9L. At approximately 15 mi out we were given intercept heading for runway 27R. First time either of us aware of the runway change. On final approach at approximately 1200 ft we received a TCASII warning 'monitor vertical speed' which quickly changed to an RA 'climb, climb.' we were IMC at the time and missed the approach and tried to contact tower to advise them we needed a southeast turn to avoid WX. At 2000 ft on the missed, we saw the end of the runway. Finally we got vectored around for second ILS approach. The aircraft ahead of us on the approach reported 20 KTS of wind shear. At this time, approximately 1800 ft, we elected to miss the approach. The captain had received an alternate missed approach in the event of a missed approach due to WX. In the turn to 120 degree heading, we hit continuous moderate turbulence for about 45 seconds to a min. We diverted to mia.
