Narrative:
Captain on flight bna-lex calling dispatch after they are airborne to amend a dispatch release as the flight took off with less than minimum dispatch fuel (by almost 300 pounds. Minimum fuel 2450 pounds, captain took off with 2200 pounds). Pilot/dispatch communication is very important. It is a joint responsibility!
