Narrative:

During a night VFR flight from green bay, wi, to cushing field (0c8) as a flight of 5 aircraft, I became disoriented while circling over the field awaiting to get in line for landing and lost the field. While trying to find the airport, I spent my reserve and the engine quit due to fuel starvation. I made a forced landing in a sport field causing minor damage to the aircraft. No injuries to persons or other property.
