Narrative:

Takeoff runway 32 lnk, northeast. The aircraft was started at gate and taxied to runway 32. Start, taxi and takeoff were at night (dawn). The taxi was short and checklists were completed during taxi as is normal procedure. The tower was closed at departure time of XA50. Communications on unicom 122.95 and CTAF 118.5 were made prior to taking the runway. We were concerned about traffic and were both looking outside as we taxied onto runway. The takeoff was made with no conflicting traffic. Preparing for our next departure, we were advised someone reported our flight departed on runway 35R. The problem arose due to: unfamiliar airport, no lighted runway signs, checklists and outside scanning for other aircraft in the traffic pattern. Corrective actions to prevent such occurrences: backlight runway signs or markings, stopping on the runway to check alignment, enlargement of the airport diagram on the chart face to further illustrate the departure area of runway 32 and runway 35R. Supplemental information from acn 248498: as a new copilot, I was distracted during the short taxi. Both the captain and I are receiving additional training.

Title: AN ACR MLG TOOK OFF ON THE WRONG RWY AT LNK. THE CREW GAVE UP 3000 FT IN LENGTH AND 50 FT IN WIDTH.

Narrative: TKOF RWY 32 LNK, NE. THE ACFT WAS STARTED AT GATE AND TAXIED TO RWY 32. START, TAXI AND TKOF WERE AT NIGHT (DAWN). THE TAXI WAS SHORT AND CHKLISTS WERE COMPLETED DURING TAXI AS IS NORMAL PROC. THE TWR WAS CLOSED AT DEP TIME OF XA50. COMS ON UNICOM 122.95 AND CTAF 118.5 WERE MADE PRIOR TO TAKING THE RWY. WE WERE CONCERNED ABOUT TFC AND WERE BOTH LOOKING OUTSIDE AS WE TAXIED ONTO RWY. THE TKOF WAS MADE WITH NO CONFLICTING TFC. PREPARING FOR OUR NEXT DEP, WE WERE ADVISED SOMEONE RPTED OUR FLT DEPARTED ON RWY 35R. THE PROB AROSE DUE TO: UNFAMILIAR ARPT, NO LIGHTED RWY SIGNS, CHKLISTS AND OUTSIDE SCANNING FOR OTHER ACFT IN THE TFC PATTERN. CORRECTIVE ACTIONS TO PREVENT SUCH OCCURRENCES: BACKLIGHT RWY SIGNS OR MARKINGS, STOPPING ON THE RWY TO CHK ALIGNMENT, ENLARGEMENT OF THE ARPT DIAGRAM ON THE CHART FACE TO FURTHER ILLUSTRATE THE DEP AREA OF RWY 32 AND RWY 35R. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 248498: AS A NEW COPLT, I WAS DISTRACTED DURING THE SHORT TAXI. BOTH THE CAPT AND I ARE RECEIVING ADDITIONAL TRAINING.
