Narrative:

My student phoned me at home from nevada county airport which was his first stop of his long cross country flight. He damaged the wing of the airplane, so I drove to nevada county to pick him up. I saw that the airplane only had minor damage. There was a small hole and a dent in the wing. I determined that the airplane was airworthy and decided to fly it home (hwd). Even though I determined that the airplane was still airworthy, I am beginning to wonder if I should have flow it at all before it got repaired.
