Narrative:

During climb out at approximately 5000 ft left engine (#1) low oil pressure light came on, followed quickly by loss of oil quantity down to just above '0' gallons. I reduced power on engine #1 to idle, then followed emergency procedures and shut down engine. We declared an emergency with departure control and returned for an uneventful landing in rochester.

Narrative: DURING CLBOUT AT APPROX 5000 FT L ENG (#1) LOW OIL PRESSURE LIGHT CAME ON, FOLLOWED QUICKLY BY LOSS OF OIL QUANTITY DOWN TO JUST ABOVE '0' GALLONS.
