Narrative:

I was flying from plymouth, ma, to farmingdale, ny. I was using ground references for navigation. It seems that I mistook several areas on my sectional chart for areas on the ground and because of this I got lost. I am reporting this because I may have entered the following areas by mistake: the providence arsa at their 1300 ft level while I was at 2000 ft. The new bedford air traffic area at 2000 ft. The quonset state air traffic area at 2000 ft. The reason that I might have entered all these controled areas is because they are all relatively close together. From now on I will use my VOR more often so that I do not end up in a situation like this again.
