Narrative:

After a complete preflight of the aircraft, we taxied out of the gate and within 30 seconds I visually noticed the left nose baggage door had come open. We then told ground control that we needed to taxi back to the gate. The baggage door was then closed and secured. Both nose baggage doors were visually checked before taxi, and since this aircraft has no annunciator lights for those baggage doors, I will physically push on each latch to ensure its security. This action will prevent any recurrence.
