Narrative:

I have been licensed by the state of fl for over 1 yr to carry a concealed weapon. On jun/fri/93 I flew support in the flight simulator from XY15 local to XX30 local. Knowing I would be coming out of the simulator at dusk, I elected to carry my licensed hand gun in my flight case. After being in the simulator for over 8 hours, and being very tired when I arrived at my home, I placed my flight case in my hallway closet. On jun/sun/93 I was flying fll-isp-fll. Running a little late upon arriving at the employee parking lot, I caught the departing bus. Arriving at terminal at fll, I proceeded to go through security. As I do the security agent informed me I had a hand gun in my flight case. The police arrive. The fact that I have a concealed weapons permit, no arrest was made. I was written a citation of 25 dollars. The only local law I broke was the fl gun permit act. The trip left on time and no other actions were taken.

Narrative: I HAVE BEEN LICENSED BY THE STATE OF FL FOR OVER 1 YR TO CARRY A CONCEALED WEAPON. ON JUN/FRI/93 I FLEW SUPPORT IN THE FLT SIMULATOR FROM XY15 LCL TO XX30 LCL. AFTER BEING IN THE SIMULATOR FOR OVER 8 HRS, AND BEING VERY TIRED WHEN I ARRIVED AT MY HOME, I PLACED MY FLT CASE IN MY HALLWAY CLOSET. ON JUN/SUN/93 I WAS FLYING FLL-ISP-FLL. RUNNING A LITTLE LATE UPON ARRIVING AT THE EMPLOYEE PARKING LOT, I CAUGHT THE DEPARTING BUS. ARRIVING AT TERMINAL AT FLL, I PROCEEDED TO GO THROUGH SECURITY. AS I DO THE SECURITY AGENT INFORMED ME I HAD A HAND GUN IN MY FLT CASE. THE POLICE ARRIVE. THE FACT THAT I HAVE A CONCEALED WEAPONS PERMIT, NO ARREST WAS MADE. I WAS WRITTEN A CITATION OF 25 DOLLARS. THE ONLY LCL LAW I BROKE WAS THE FL GUN PERMIT ACT. THE TRIP LEFT ON TIME AND NO OTHER ACTIONS WERE TAKEN.
