Narrative:

Takeoff accomplished on runway 13 with whitestone climb accomplished. Departure had given several vectors when they asked us about our heading. At this time we were indicating 300 degrees but departure showed us steering 270 degrees. Both compass system were indicating the same heading. Since both system indicated the same thing, no instrument comparator light was ever given as a warning. Both system were reslaved and appeared to maintain heading at this point. Checked with company concerning possible magnetic cargo but none known of. Checked with flight attendants in reference to electronic devices but none were in use at this time.
