Narrative:
As we began the power application during takeoff, both pilots heard a muffled 'pop' and the aircraft experienced a yaw to the right. We aborted the takeoff and determined that the right engine had failed. Both engines were shut down using the approved aircraft checklists, and a precautionary evacuate/evacuation was initiated. There were no injuries.
