Narrative:

On takeoff #1 engine compressor stalled climbing through approximately 500 ft AGL. The throttle was retarded. The engine flamed out approximately 700 ft AGL. All appropriate checklists and communications were performed and we landed expeditiously without further event. Emergency vehicles met our aircraft and were not needed. We taxied to our ramp/gate without further assistance.

Narrative: ON TKOF #1 ENG COMPRESSOR STALLED CLBING THROUGH APPROX 500 FT AGL. THE THROTTLE WAS RETARDED. THE ENG FLAMED OUT APPROX 700 FT AGL. ALL APPROPRIATE CHKLISTS AND COMS WERE PERFORMED AND WE LANDED EXPEDITIOUSLY WITHOUT FURTHER EVENT. EMER VEHICLES MET OUR ACFT AND WERE NOT NEEDED. WE TAXIED TO OUR RAMP/GATE WITHOUT FURTHER ASSISTANCE.
