Narrative:

Small aircraft X takes off, an medium large transport lands, air carrier Y takes off after medium large transport clears runway. No warning from tower about slow small aircraft X ahead on our departure. Small aircraft X (come to find out) had a runway heading climb to 3000 ft clearance. At about 2200 ft during flap cleanup I got a TCASII TA about 2 mi ahead, slightly left of course and 400 ft above. I immediately acquired small aircraft X visually and took evasive action, a 30 degree turn to the right holding the climb as is. Missed by 1/4 mi horizontal 0 ft vertical.
