Narrative:

The RA occurred a few seconds after takeoff, 1200 ft AGL/1500 ft MSL runway 4 lga heading 055 degrees. TCASII said we were within 'minus 1' ft 'climb, climb, climb' green arc at 2500 FPM (the green portion of the arc was quite difficult to see due to glare on vvi). The TCASII voice covered an ATC request to turn/climb 270 degrees/12000 ft. We had to delay complying a few seconds until we were clear of conflict and had checked call sign and clearance with departure ATC. ATC reported no traffic in our area. We had an intruder depiction on both the vvi and TCASII radar on 5 mi range.
