Narrative:

Accepted an aircraft which did not have a proper airworthiness release. Was already a 12-hour day, an aircraft change and looked only at previous write-ups and made sure there was no open maintenance write-ups. Was hurried and did not catch the required airworthiness signoff 2 flts before. Next pilot called me and told me the error. Did not take my time, I was hurried in my preflight.

Title: PIC OF ACR MLG ACCEPTS ACFT IN A NIGHT OP WITHOUT THE MAINT AIRWORTHINESS STANDARD RELEASE BEING SIGNED OFF IN LOGBOOK.

Narrative: ACCEPTED AN ACFT WHICH DID NOT HAVE A PROPER AIRWORTHINESS RELEASE. WAS ALREADY A 12-HR DAY, AN ACFT CHANGE AND LOOKED ONLY AT PREVIOUS WRITE-UPS AND MADE SURE THERE WAS NO OPEN MAINT WRITE-UPS. WAS HURRIED AND DID NOT CATCH THE REQUIRED AIRWORTHINESS SIGNOFF 2 FLTS BEFORE. NEXT PLT CALLED ME AND TOLD ME THE ERROR. DID NOT TAKE MY TIME, I WAS HURRIED IN MY PREFLT.
