Narrative:

On the climb out the landing gear failed to retract. Returned back for landing at cmi. When maintenance personnel came to check the airplane out, they found the weight on wheel circuit breaker popped. There is a possibility we, the cockpit crew, failed to see the popped circuit breaker when we accomplished the first of the day safety cockpit checks. The mechanic said pulling the weight on wheel circuit breaker is part of a maintenance procedure when they check the flight director autoplt when they perform the maintenance line check at the outstations on overnighting airplanes. Suggest there be a procedure where they have to mark down, possibly the aircraft maintenance log, any circuit breaker that is pulled as part of a maintenance procedure.
