Narrative:

Attended air show briefing in morning to go over event times and sign waiver with the FAA. I informed the air show coordinator that I was going to do a water drop (aircraft is a fire bomber) and then do 2 low passes with a sharp pull up and turn. The coordinator said that would be great and to do it. I also signed the waiver with the FAA. The coordinator was an FAA control tower person working in conjunction with the FAA. After the air show I was informed that the FAA was going to violate me for my low passes and pull ups because they were going past 45 degrees of bank angle. I called the FAA inspector who wanted to violate me and gave him my story that I had, I thought, been clear to do these maneuvers via the show coordinator who was representing him at the morning briefing. He said that the matter would be dropped because there was a communication breakdown between the coordinator and myself. He also added that there were numerous complaints from the crowd about what I did. I have found out that this was not true and that he was the only person upset. But he has told me that if any complaints come in that he would have to go after me. So how long do I have this thing being held over my head. He also called my company and informed them of the incidents before I could explain what was going on. This action by him has caused great problems with the company owner and myself.
