Narrative:

Cleared to taxi 5R. Clearance was read back as taxi south 5R. The controller said she issued a clearance, that stated 'standard taxi' 5R south. I understood and heard clearance to taxi south to 5R with no restrictions, therein lies the problem. The east side ground controller was not called for continued taxi to 5R as the standard taxi instruction sheet calls for. We were the only aircraft taxiing to 5R this particular night at that time and traffic or conflict was not a problem.

Title: FLC OF LGT ACR ACFT FAILED TO FOLLOW THE STANDARD TAXI RTE INSTRUCTIONS.

Narrative: CLRED TO TAXI 5R. CLRNC WAS READ BACK AS TAXI S 5R. THE CTLR SAID SHE ISSUED A CLRNC, THAT STATED 'STANDARD TAXI' 5R S. I UNDERSTOOD AND HEARD CLRNC TO TAXI S TO 5R WITH NO RESTRICTIONS, THEREIN LIES THE PROBLEM. THE E SIDE GND CTLR WAS NOT CALLED FOR CONTINUED TAXI TO 5R AS THE STANDARD TAXI INSTRUCTION SHEET CALLS FOR. WE WERE THE ONLY ACFT TAXIING TO 5R THIS PARTICULAR NIGHT AT THAT TIME AND TFC OR CONFLICT WAS NOT A PROBLEM.
