Narrative:

This was a solo practice flight to become more familiar with the handling characteristics of the small aircraft. I chose the open area of the lvk valley to perform spins so as to have as much AGL altitude as possible. After 2 spins, I realized that I was on the swestern edge of the lvk control zone and adjacent to V-195. My error of performing aerobatic maneuvers in a control zone and a victor airway was caused by unfamiliarity with the aircraft and by total concentration on the spins due to it being the first solo flight in the aircraft. I had training in spins and acro, but only in other areas, and choosing an appropriate practice area was never emphasized. So, with the added pressures described above, it was neglected.

Title: ACROBATIC FLT IN PROX OF AIRWAY CTL ZONE.

Narrative: THIS WAS A SOLO PRACTICE FLT TO BECOME MORE FAMILIAR WITH THE HANDLING CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SMA. I CHOSE THE OPEN AREA OF THE LVK VALLEY TO PERFORM SPINS SO AS TO HAVE AS MUCH AGL ALT AS POSSIBLE. AFTER 2 SPINS, I REALIZED THAT I WAS ON THE SWESTERN EDGE OF THE LVK CTL ZONE AND ADJACENT TO V-195. MY ERROR OF PERFORMING AEROBATIC MANEUVERS IN A CTL ZONE AND A VICTOR AIRWAY WAS CAUSED BY UNFAMILIARITY WITH THE ACFT AND BY TOTAL CONCENTRATION ON THE SPINS DUE TO IT BEING THE FIRST SOLO FLT IN THE ACFT. I HAD TRAINING IN SPINS AND ACRO, BUT ONLY IN OTHER AREAS, AND CHOOSING AN APPROPRIATE PRACTICE AREA WAS NEVER EMPHASIZED. SO, WITH THE ADDED PRESSURES DESCRIBED ABOVE, IT WAS NEGLECTED.
