Narrative:
Interference from other air traffic transmitting to ZKC on 128.4. Every time ZID transmitted instruction they were blocked by transmissions by other aircraft talking to ZKC south of kansas city. Finally descended as instructed but lost radio contact with ZID 15 NM southeast of flm VOR. When over flm, switched to cincinnati approach. Landed uneventfully. Frequency needs to be changed to alleviate the interference and lost contact at low altitudes around flm VOR.

Narrative: INTERFERENCE FROM OTHER AIR TFC XMITTING TO ZKC ON 128.4. EVERY TIME ZID XMITTED INSTRUCTION THEY WERE BLOCKED BY TRANSMISSIONS BY OTHER ACFT TALKING TO ZKC S OF KANSAS CITY. FINALLY DSNDED AS INSTRUCTED BUT LOST RADIO CONTACT WITH ZID 15 NM SE OF FLM VOR. WHEN OVER FLM, SWITCHED TO CINCINNATI APCH. LANDED UNEVENTFULLY. FREQ NEEDS TO BE CHANGED TO ALLEVIATE THE INTERFERENCE AND LOST CONTACT AT LOW ALTS AROUND FLM VOR.
