Narrative:

At XA29 I combined 2 sectors in ZMP (sectors 3,4). All data blocks were manually transferred except for medium large transport X msp J106 grb descending to 9000. Light transport Y was grb aww cwa climbing to 12000. The limited data block of medium large transport X was not observed and separation was lost. The conflict alert did not activate until separation was already lost. To prevent recurrence: develop software in NAS stage a so that when sectors are combined: data blocks with track control transfer automatically to the new position. Data blocks without track control are displayed on combined scope by one pvd function (automatically). Improve conflict alert so it activates prior to a systems error happening.

TO PREVENT RECURRENCE: DEVELOP SOFTWARE IN NAS STAGE A SO THAT WHEN SECTORS ARE COMBINED: DATA BLOCKS WITH TRACK CTL TRANSFER AUTOMATICALLY TO THE NEW POS. DATA BLOCKS WITHOUT TRACK CTL ARE DISPLAYED ON COMBINED SCOPE BY ONE PVD FUNCTION (AUTOMATICALLY). IMPROVE CONFLICT ALERT SO IT ACTIVATES PRIOR TO A SYSTEMS ERROR HAPPENING.
