Narrative:

Buf to jfk. While in cruise flight on V-44 over bridgeport VOR at 4000 ft, approach control (ny) called traffic 2 O'clock 3500 ft, 3 mi climbing. TCASII indicated the same thing. Crew visually searched for traffic. TCASII commanded climb. Crew climbed to 4700 ft and then, the first officer saw aircraft, an small aircraft, pass off our lower right side

Title: AN LTT ACR ACFT HAD A TCASII ALERT REQUIRING A CLB, ATC CALLED AN INTRUDER ACFT AT THE SAME TIME THE LTT RESPONDED TO TCASII. THE INTRUDER ACFT WAS SEEN VISUALLY. NO FURTHER CONFLICT OCCURRED.
