Narrative:

While taxiing into our gate at ord, the flight attendant called me and said there was smoke with flames coming from the left main wheel. I told the captain, and he had me call the flight attendant back just to double check what she saw. After she told me again, the captain told me to call for crash fire rescue and tell them we were going to evacuate/evacuation out of the right side of the aircraft. As soon as the aircraft came to a stop, the fire went out. I called over the intercom that we were going to evacuate/evacuation out the right side. At that same time, a ramp agent opened the main door and the flight attendant directed the passenger out of the main exit door.
