Narrative:

After 3 touch and go's from runway 27 at bvy, departed left turnout south toward salem ma harbor on photo mission of salem ma. Followed coast south past power station toward lynn ma. At 1300 ft, TCA floor at 2000 ft (altitudes MSL). Made 180 degree turn over lynn to avoid TCA floor at surface. (Bvy tower had just asked me to 'identify', located me 8 mi south of bvy as gave permission to change frequency.) completed photo mission and contacted bvy over salem for more touch and go's. After I touch and go departed bvy to the east. Bvy contacted me to call tower when I returned and asked me to remain bvy CTAF. I complied. After contact on ground with bvy tower, they advised me to call bos and talk with assistant supervisor for what they (bvy) thought to be a TCA violation. Bos advised me that I had violated their TCA. I had flown 1 mi into their airspace on final for 22R. I was observed by a 'twin' aircraft. No indication was made to me by bos that this situation was a 'near miss' with any aircraft. They (bos) asked me if I had seen the twin, and I said 'no'. Bos also said I was 4 mi from their airport. This confused me, because the TCA floor to the surface extends 8 mi from the airport (bos) and I had penetrated 1 mi the interface with bos was both 'courteous' and professional. Bos wanted to know if I understood how dangerous a situation this was, and I did my best to convince them I did. The interface ended with bos advising me a more serious follow-up would come about if I violated their airspace again. Bos took my name, certificate no., etc. The incident left me quite 'shaken' and still bothers me. I feel the situation was poor judgement and 'sloppy flying' on my part. I've met with my flight instructor for some ground schooling, reviewing TCA's controled airspace, in particular bos. I reviewed procedure contacting bos approach and their frequency along with using 'flight following' for assistance surrounding the TCA area. I'm also considering joining the FAA 'wings program'.

Title: UNAUTHORIZED PENETRATION OF AIRSPACE.

Narrative: AFTER 3 TOUCH AND GO'S FROM RWY 27 AT BVY, DEPARTED L TURNOUT S TOWARD SALEM MA HARBOR ON PHOTO MISSION OF SALEM MA. FOLLOWED COAST S PAST PWR STATION TOWARD LYNN MA. AT 1300 FT, TCA FLOOR AT 2000 FT (ALTS MSL). MADE 180 DEG TURN OVER LYNN TO AVOID TCA FLOOR AT SURFACE. (BVY TWR HAD JUST ASKED ME TO 'IDENT', LOCATED ME 8 MI S OF BVY AS GAVE PERMISSION TO CHANGE FREQ.) COMPLETED PHOTO MISSION AND CONTACTED BVY OVER SALEM FOR MORE TOUCH AND GO'S. AFTER I TOUCH AND GO DEPARTED BVY TO THE E. BVY CONTACTED ME TO CALL TWR WHEN I RETURNED AND ASKED ME TO REMAIN BVY CTAF. I COMPLIED. AFTER CONTACT ON GND WITH BVY TWR, THEY ADVISED ME TO CALL BOS AND TALK WITH ASSISTANT SUPVR FOR WHAT THEY (BVY) THOUGHT TO BE A TCA VIOLATION. BOS ADVISED ME THAT I HAD VIOLATED THEIR TCA. I HAD FLOWN 1 MI INTO THEIR AIRSPACE ON FINAL FOR 22R. I WAS OBSERVED BY A 'TWIN' ACFT. NO INDICATION WAS MADE TO ME BY BOS THAT THIS SITUATION WAS A 'NEAR MISS' WITH ANY ACFT. THEY (BOS) ASKED ME IF I HAD SEEN THE TWIN, AND I SAID 'NO'. BOS ALSO SAID I WAS 4 MI FROM THEIR ARPT. THIS CONFUSED ME, BECAUSE THE TCA FLOOR TO THE SURFACE EXTENDS 8 MI FROM THE ARPT (BOS) AND I HAD PENETRATED 1 MI THE INTERFACE WITH BOS WAS BOTH 'COURTEOUS' AND PROFESSIONAL. I'VE MET WITH MY FLT INSTRUCTOR FOR SOME GND SCHOOLING, REVIEWING TCA'S CTLED AIRSPACE, IN PARTICULAR BOS. I REVIEWED PROC CONTACTING BOS APCH AND THEIR FREQ ALONG WITH USING 'FLT FOLLOWING' FOR ASSISTANCE SURROUNDING THE TCA AREA. I'M ALSO CONSIDERING JOINING THE FAA 'WINGS PROGRAM'.
