Narrative:
While experiencing 'light turbulence' at 31000 a sudden 4 min jolt of moderate turbulence was experienced. A flight attendant sprained her ankle and a 6 month old lap child was shaken up. Paramedics met aircraft at phl, after observation, all passenger were released -- ok. I, as captain, did not write aircraft up in logbook because I believe the turbulence was moderate only.
