Narrative:

3 mins after takeoff, the engine pwring my helicopter quit. Altitude at this point was 800 MSL, I entered automatic rotation, and landed in a downward sloping hillside (15 degree slope). Incidental damage occurred just prior to touchdown, because the top strand of a 2 strand electric fence was picked up by the aircraft ventral fin. When the wire strand broke, one end cut through the trailing edge of right side horizontal stabilizer. (16 inch cut in 25 inch width stabilizer top and bottom skins). No other damage occurred to other components of any consequence. Our maintenance personnel installed serviceable fuel pump and fuel control and serviceable fuel horizontal stabilizer. A few hours later, at that time I restarted aircraft and hover taxied back to princeville without further incident. There were no passenger involved. Aircraft had only myself and 53 percent fuel onboard.
