Taxiway south poorly marked closed. Wide enough to taxi through and vehicular traffic (i.e., trucks and carts) still move through the narrow throat. Area adjacent to terminal sufficiently lit but no markings exist on perimeter closest to the runways except blue taxiway lights (illuminated).

Title: ACR FLC COMPLAINT ABOUT THE MARKINGS USED TO IDENT A CLOSED PORTION OF PHL RAMP AREA.

Narrative: TAXIWAY S POORLY MARKED CLOSED. WIDE ENOUGH TO TAXI THROUGH AND VEHICULAR TFC (I.E., TRUCKS AND CARTS) STILL MOVE THROUGH THE NARROW THROAT. AREA ADJACENT TO TERMINAL SUFFICIENTLY LIT BUT NO MARKINGS EXIST ON PERIMETER CLOSEST TO THE RWYS EXCEPT BLUE TAXIWAY LIGHTS (ILLUMINATED).
