Narrative:

While in a holding pattern for a practice VOR 32 at stinson municipal airport, I had a near miss with another aircraft while making procedure turn inbound. I was receiving traffic advisories from sat approach, but no mention was made of the conflict and the aircraft passed directly in front of my aircraft as I turned inbound.
