Narrative:

On final approach, just outside of OM, TCAS started saying, 'traffic, traffic; vertical speed, vertical speed.' we were looking for the traffic and looking at the TCAS. Became so distracted, I forgot to call the tower for landing clearance. Luckily the tower cleared us to land, even though I didn't call them. TCAS is supposed to help in the terminal area, but for us it was more of a nuisance.
