Narrative:

Parents stated their X year old child will not wear [a] mask when we were just about to take off. I was doing final walk through when I discovered [this]. Due to the timing I decided to not enforce mask policy. I stated to parents they may not be able to fly again if their child does not comply with policy. I asked customer service to meet plane to explain policy for their next flight. Please remove mask policy for children under 5 at minimum.
