Narrative:

Approaching kmht large transport crew was cleared for visual approach for runway 17. ATC changed clearance to runway 35 after crew turned for vectors to runway 17. First officer was PF. Aircraft was on high left base to runway 35 when cleared for visual approach. Aircraft touched down faster and longer than normal for taxiway B or runway 24-6 turn-off. Aircraft rolled to a stop between runway 24-6 and taxiway J. Captain took control of aircraft at normal point during landing rollout but requested 180 degree turn on runway 35 over UHF #2. Response from ATC was not heard and the request was repeated by first officer but apparently blocked ATC permission for 180 degree turn. Captain immediately turned onto taxiway J followed shortly by xmissions from ATC to 'exit taxiway J immediately.' crew taxied to H and continued to ramp. Taxiway J was notamed closed or ATIS but was not passed to front end by so with landing card information. Taxiway J appeared to be normal and clear of obstructions...aircraft gross weight 115000. Contributing factors: longer landing rollout pass normal turnoff at taxiway B. Landing card omitted taxiway closures. Fatigue of long flight at odd hours. Failure to remember terminal NOTAM section in route manual chart NOTAM section. ATC using several frequencys simultaneously. Note: when first officer established contact with ATC it was on 121.9. During other xmissions radio was tuned to 118.3, a frequency that first officer does not recall ever using all month flying into mht. Unless it was switched from 121.3 by another crew member 118.3 is that crew landed with...first officer was PF, captain on radio. Read airport chart NOTAMS religiously. Do not assume company NOTAMS and fdc, will include all NOTAMS. Pass all information to front enders regardless of how insignificant or familiar crew is with airport. Do not accept being put into a box you are unfamiliar with unless you are absolutely positive of your next moves. It takes crew coordination. Kmht airport authority/authorized treated incident with common sense and courtesy.

Title: ACR LGT UNAUTH TAXI AFTER LNDG AT MHT.

Narrative: APCHING KMHT LGT CREW WAS CLRED FOR VISUAL APCH FOR RWY 17. ATC CHANGED CLRNC TO RWY 35 AFTER CREW TURNED FOR VECTORS TO RWY 17. FO WAS PF. ACFT WAS ON HIGH L BASE TO RWY 35 WHEN CLRED FOR VISUAL APCH. ACFT TOUCHED DOWN FASTER AND LONGER THAN NORMAL FOR TXWY B OR RWY 24-6 TURN-OFF. ACFT ROLLED TO A STOP BTWN RWY 24-6 AND TXWY J. CAPT TOOK CTL OF ACFT AT NORMAL POINT DURING LNDG ROLLOUT BUT REQUESTED 180 DEG TURN ON RWY 35 OVER UHF #2. RESPONSE FROM ATC WAS NOT HEARD AND THE REQUEST WAS REPEATED BY FO BUT APPARENTLY BLOCKED ATC PERMISSION FOR 180 DEG TURN. CAPT IMMEDIATELY TURNED ONTO TXWY J FOLLOWED SHORTLY BY XMISSIONS FROM ATC TO 'EXIT TXWY J IMMEDIATELY.' CREW TAXIED TO H AND CONTINUED TO RAMP. TXWY J WAS NOTAMED CLOSED OR ATIS BUT WAS NOT PASSED TO FRONT END BY SO WITH LNDG CARD INFO. TXWY J APPEARED TO BE NORMAL AND CLR OF OBSTRUCTIONS...ACFT GROSS WT 115000. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS: LONGER LNDG ROLLOUT PASS NORMAL TURNOFF AT TXWY B. LNDG CARD OMITTED TXWY CLOSURES. FATIGUE OF LONG FLT AT ODD HRS. FAILURE TO REMEMBER TERMINAL NOTAM SECTION IN RTE MANUAL CHART NOTAM SECTION. ATC USING SEVERAL FREQS SIMULTANEOUSLY. NOTE: WHEN FO ESTABLISHED CONTACT WITH ATC IT WAS ON 121.9. DURING OTHER XMISSIONS RADIO WAS TUNED TO 118.3, A FREQ THAT FO DOES NOT RECALL EVER USING ALL MONTH FLYING INTO MHT. UNLESS IT WAS SWITCHED FROM 121.3 BY ANOTHER CREW MEMBER 118.3 IS THAT CREW LANDED WITH...FO WAS PF, CAPT ON RADIO. READ ARPT CHART NOTAMS RELIGIOUSLY. DO NOT ASSUME COMPANY NOTAMS AND FDC, WILL INCLUDE ALL NOTAMS. PASS ALL INFO TO FRONT ENDERS REGARDLESS OF HOW INSIGNIFICANT OR FAMILIAR CREW IS WITH ARPT. DO NOT ACCEPT BEING PUT INTO A BOX YOU ARE UNFAMILIAR WITH UNLESS YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE OF YOUR NEXT MOVES. IT TAKES CREW COORD. KMHT ARPT AUTH TREATED INCIDENT WITH COMMON SENSE AND COURTESY.
