Narrative:

Reduction of manifold pressure in left engine (approximately 3'), followed by loss of oil pressure. Once oil pressure reached lower safe limit, I shut down and feathered the engine and propeller respectively. Called ZOA and requested an immediate approach to santa rosa (sonoma county airport), which I received right away. ZOA passed me to sonoma county tower at the OM. Landed west/O incident. Flight started 11 qts of oil in left engine. After checking oil at engine shutdown, I had 2 qts left. Engine turbocharger blew a seal, discharging engine oil out its exhaust. Lesson learned. Rely on your training to pull you through. ZOA and sonoma county tower were outstanding in their support. They are top professionals.
