Narrative:

After giving air carrier X the airport information I told him to report the eyw VOR on left base runway 9. Air carrier X said he was over the VOR now and that nqx just switched him. (Eyw VOR is inside the eyw air traffic area). The controller in charge later asked about this incident and the other one I reported for the day. He says nqx told him they hung on to the aircraft because they couldn't see the airport. Even so this was not coordination. NWS says visibility was 10 mi with haze in the remarks. I say the visibility was only 5 mi in haze.
