Narrative:

Lowered landing gear. Got an unsafe right main light. Went through all procedures, including emergency extension, tower fly-by. Prepared crew and passenger for possible crash landing and evacuate/evacuation on runway. Visually inspected gear down and locked. I elected to inhibit GPWS, pull landing gear horn circuit breaker and did not arm automatic spoilers. Had an uneventful landing and rollout on runway 36 at mci. I did not deploy spoilers in case gear collapsed so I could 'fly' the wing down to runway. A happy ending. My crew did an outstanding job as did approach, tower and the emergency crew at mci.
