Narrative:

During cruise a pressurization system malfunction occurred which required a descent to a lower altitude. We contacted ATC and requested a descent to FL240 and then a further descent to 10000 ft. The aircraft was leveled at 10000 ft and the flight diverted to msy. 25 mi northwest of msy, 4000 pounds of fuel was dumped and the aircraft landed msy without incident.
