Narrative:

Had disabled flight guidance system, in accordance with company policy, to perform special sna noise abatement takeoff. The procedure requires a pitch attitude greater than F/D is capable of providing properly. Departure cleared us to 6000' soon after takeoff and changed the published route to a different heading and right intercept. In the scramble to change altitude and routing, and with flight guidance system still off, we climbed through 6000' to 6600' before correcting. In my opinion the special sna noise abatement takeoff procedure, especially when combined with reroutings soon after takeoff, lead to too many distrs and potential for error.
