Narrative:

[I] wanted to bring this issue to charts +. Today leaving mmgl we were given the guadalajara 2C departure to join J25. The full clearance was (guadalajara 2C departure off runway 28 to join the J25 to bro direct crp then TEJAS4 arrival). My first officer was using jepps and I am using the charts+. We were given a direct to pirar which is a fix on the departure from mexico ATC. I was fumbling trying to find this fix on charts +. My first officer had it clearly marked on his jepps plate. Charts+ not having waypoints on their SID's and dp's are a hindrance and in my opinion can be a hazard and cause for violation. Our airline is a 121 operation that should not be using a software program for navigation that is clearly not ready for use in commercial aviation. The pilots at this airline should not be the test subjects for a program that has many flaws in it and we are using it to fly the 'public' around. I know and understand [company]'s legal safety net. Jeppesen charts are the only approved navigation charts for our airline. Me being distracted trying to find a fix in foreign airspace; with some difficulties understanding the accents; manage an aircraft; comply with using charts+ as a trial with jeppesen as the main navigation charts is not minimizing 'risk.' I am not writing this because I dislike charts+; I do like some things about it; they are clearly not ready; this is my 8th [problem] regarding something about charts+ and the issues it has. It's just the fact I am compensated for flying for an awesome airline not providing feedback for software engineers who are getting paid to recognize and solve these issue at navblu.the company wants us to download and start using the charts+ 'just to get used to it.' under the time constraints and pressures that 121 can put on flight crews I can see navblu charts+ as added risk factor for our crews. As stated above; the product is not fully ready and my first officer and I spend time trying to figure out the missing elements in the dp's and stars and even some Q routes and uj routes. We are required to have charts+ downloaded so we can do them to use with the understanding that we will have practiced and used charts+ in some areas on the road. It's frustrating going back and forth in my reviews of jepps and charts+ and it's an added distraction that is not needed in the cockpit.
